Ship something real, keep it small, make it last.

Give me a rough idea and I'll hand you the working thing. I build across the whole stack — the interface people touch, the API behind it, the data model underneath, and the infrastructure it all runs on. Web and mobile, front end and back, plus the unglamorous automation and deploy work most people would rather not own.

That range is the point. I don't need a finished spec, a design handed down, or an environment someone else provisioned. I can take something from a conversation to production and keep it alive afterwards — and I'd rather ship a small thing that's real than a big thing that's a demo.

A bit of everything, but the platform is mine: a fleet of automated Windows machines that drive desktop tax software unattended, and the AWS infrastructure underneath it.
- Run the automated Windows worker fleet — golden images, supervisor restart loops, and heartbeats, so headless desktop automation survives contact with production.
- Built the remote-desktop layer reviewers work through: certificate renewal on a schedule, session hardening, self-service connect, idle shutdown.
- Own the Terraform codebase and its CI, including plan summaries on every pull request so infrastructure changes are actually reviewable.
- Still ship product — most recently a partner integrations API with signed webhooks and a sandbox.

Owned frontend architecture in a growing monorepo, stabilizing a codebase that wasn't ready for scale.
- Cut CI/CD from ~15 minutes to under 2 by restructuring how tests ran in the monorepo.
- Fixed major performance problems by redesigning data flow and introducing React Query.
- Led Quote Comparison: multi-carrier quotes with plain-language explanations, Tesseract and GPT models for document parsing, end-to-end UI plus supporting backend work.
- Built Proposal Sharing so brokers could distribute proposals externally.

Spearheaded Comun's mobile banking app, setting the project structure and coding standards from scratch.
- Built the product in React Native and Expo, from empty repo to customers.
- Designed the deployment pattern and the QA pipeline around Chromatic, Storybook, and Detox.
- Shipped distribution builds for both Android and iOS behind CodeCov, ESLint, and Jest gates.

Led the strategic migration of the Publish product from Ember.js to Angular, coordinating a team of five engineers.
- Introduced the monorepo structure the product still builds on.
- Pioneered Odyssey, a fully customizable software package optimized for on-premise hosting.
- Also ran DevOps here — Terraform and ArgoCD on Kubernetes.

What I am building right now

FakturFacturación automática

An automatic invoicing system for Mexico. Photograph a receipt, OCR pulls the data out, it's validated against a tax profile, and a CFDI invoice comes out the other end. A customer app for uploading, an admin queue for reviewing anything the model wasn't sure about, and a FastAPI backend behind both.
